Celebrating gallery UG’s 25th Anniversary & the Grand Opening of gallery UG Tennoz Annex

We are delighted to announce that gallery UG will celebrate its 25th anniversary this September. We sincerely appreciate your support, which has allowed us to continue our activities over the years.

In February of this year, we expanded our presence in the Kansai region by opening gallery UG Osaka Umeda. Now, in September, we are excited totake the next step in our journey with the grand opening of gallery UG Tennoz Annex, located on the 3rd floor of TERRADA ART COMPLEX Ⅱ.

To commemorate our 25th anniversary, gallery UG (2nd floor) will host the Kunihiko Nohara “Bubbles and Flowers” exhibition starting Friday, September 6th. Kunihiko Nohara, born in 1982 in Eniwa, Hokkaido, graduated from the Graduate School of Arts, Hiroshima City University, with a specialization in sculpture in 2007. He has been an exclusive artist with gallery UG since 2010. Consistently working under the theme of “Comfortable Moments,” Nohara will present a new series, “Shabon,” at this exhibition.

On September 7th, we will celebrate the grand opening of “gallery UG Tennoz Annex” on the 3rd floor of TERRADA ART COMPLEX Ⅱ. In pursuit of new horizons, we have relocated gallery UG Bakurocho to Tennoz. The Tennoz Annex will serve as a permanent exhibition space for artists Nami Okada, Ryosuke Kawahira, Takaoki Tajima, Keitoku Toizumi, and Kunihiko Nohara. Their masterpieces will be on display at all times, and we are committed to providing opportunities for their continued artistic growth.

As part of the grand opening celebrations, we will begin taking pre-orders for Takaoki Tajima’s new work, “Sugar Mountain Tennoz Version.”This piece is an exclusive edition, limited to 30 units, and will only be available at the Tennoz location. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to acquire a limited edition work.

In light of these events, we would like to cordially invite you to the “gallery UG 25th Anniversary & gallery UG Tennoz Annex Opening Celebration Party,” which will be held on Saturday, September 7th, starting at 4:00 PM. The party will be held in conjunction with the regular “THE PARTY” at TERRADA ART COMPLEX Ⅱ, 2nd floor. We would be honored if you could join us for this special occasion.
