gallery UG is pleased to announce ”Laissez-faire", a group exhibition by gallery UG's 6 resident artists at GINZA TSUTAYA BOOKS from Februray 17(fri.) to March 10(fri.), 2023.

The exhibition “Laissez-faire” was first held at the Ueno Royal Museum gallery in 2014 to commemorate the gallery’s 15th anniversary, and has since been exhibited in Singapore and other countries.
Laissez-faire is a French word meaning “leave it to chance”, frequently used in economics and is generally translated as “liberalism”.
What “Laissez-faire” means to us:
It is a slogan that expresses a part of the attitude of how we, as a gallery, relate to artists in the current art industry, which has been on the edge of a revolution.
