gallery UG Tennoz is pleased to announce “Animal Playhouse Act 2”, a solo exhibition by Junko ASANO, from January 19 till February 3, 2024.

Since 2011, he has been working as an exclusive artist for gallery UG.
He holds a solo exhibition at gallery UG Bakurocho every year and exhibits his works at domestic and international art fairs.
He has set up promotions mainly in Asia, and is particularly popular at art fairs in Taiwan.

This exhibition will be Asano's first solo exhibition at gallery UG Tennoz since "Animal Playhouse - Act 1 -" held in 2019, the second exhibition on the same theme.

Please come and see his nostalgic and amusing playhouse of animals, incorporating the anthropomorphic animal culture that has been enjoyed since ancient times in Japan.
