gallery UG Tennoz is excited to announce "Roulette," a solo exhibition by Hideki IINUMA, running from Friday, June 7, to Saturday, June 22.
IINUMA's sculptures, carved from single trees, feature a rough exterior that retains the wood's bark, reflecting the essence of contemporary women living in a consumer society. Iinuma often photographs her sculptures in real-world settings, such as urban streets and natural landscapes. This dynamic combination of sculpture and background creates a fresh and diverse visual experience, stimulating the viewer's imagination and revealing new dimensions of the sculptures.
It has been two years since IINUMA participated in a group exhibition at gallery UG in 2022. This highly anticipated event marks his first solo exhibition at the gallery.
We look forward to welcoming you.
