gallery UG is pleased to announce its participation in the Art Council section of AUTOMOBILE COUNCIL 2026, held at Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall from April 10 (Fri) to April 12 (Sun), 2026.

Following last year’s presentation, gallery UG will once again feature a solo presentation by artist Takaoki TAJIMA.

The art fair “Art Council” is held within AUTOMOBILE COUNCIL, an event dedicated to showcasing and selling culturally significant heritage cars that have shaped automotive history, alongside exhibitions of next-generation vehicles. Through talk sessions, art, music, and a curated market, the fair aspires to create a multifaceted cultural event centered around the world of automobiles. Art Council seeks to explore and establish a new model of art fair within this unique multidisciplinary context.

Originally launched within AUTOMOBILE COUNCIL in 2018, the fair was newly rebranded as “Art Council” in April 2024 and has been held a total of eight times to date.

This edition of Art Council will feature 19 participating galleries.
