UG ASSEMBLE (gallery UG), led by President Eiichiro Sasaki, will open a new store in Daimaru Fukuoka Tenjin on Thursday, August 29, 2025. This marks the gallery\u2019s first permanent location in the Kyushu region, following the successful opening of its Daimaru Umeda store in February 2024.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Since its founding in 1999, gallery UG has introduced a wide range of artists from Japan and abroad under the theme of \u201cencounters between art and people.\u201d Now in its 26th year of operation, the gallery continues its mission to present art rooted in the local community, with Fukuoka as its latest home.<\/span>

Opening Exhibition Project: TRY, Try, TRI !<\/b><\/p>\n

To commemorate the opening of its new location at Daimaru Fukuoka Tenjin, gallery UG will present the exhibition \u201cTRY, Try, Tri!\u201d beginning August 29, 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n

TRY<\/b>\u2014to take on something new.<\/span>
\n<\/span>Try<\/b>\u2014an effort to achieve something.<\/span>
\n<\/span>TRI<\/b>\u2014from Latin, meaning \u201cthree.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

This exhibition brings together three artists, each exploring distinct forms of expression. <\/span>
\nThrough their individual \u201cTRIs,\u201d you will witness three unique creative journeys.<\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Creating art means facing oneself\u2014an ongoing process of challenges and perseverance. <\/span>
\nIn \u201cTry, Try, Try!,\u201d these personal trials intersect and resonate, giving rise to new artistic possibilities. Each small \u201ctry\u201d accumulates, eventually unlocking something far greater.<\/span>
